Thea is a passionate personal trainer who has been working in fitness for several years. Her journey with her body image, fitness, and holistic health has been long and complex. Hard work and perseverance have seen her through both her hardest workouts and her biggest challenges.
Thea thrives on seeing her clients get stronger with each workout, and lives to lift them up. Her understanding of the scientific principles of strength training is something she is extremely passionate about in order to help her clients make incredible strides in their own training. Knowledge is often a barrier to success, but it doesn't have to be!
Strength training is a well studied discipline, and there are some hard and fast rules that everyone should know. With a community of committed women everywhere you look at MOVE, and well educated trainers to help guide the way, the community has the keys to the castle. And the biggest key of course, is always consistency.

Why we love her:
Exercise, movement, and education around those things kept me grounded and sane during my time working as crew on board luxury yachts (yes, like Below Deck..!). Running, TRX, yoga and pilates became vital to my mental health, (even though I discovered them all as a means of controlling my appearance to stay “employable” by yachting standards), all because they were doable in small spaces and with little to no equipment to store!
When I decided to try life on land, I worked at a kettlebell studio and fell in love with the way that mastering kettlebell skills offered not just a physical challenge, but also a mental one. I took my level 1 certification with Agatsu and since have become passionate about helping people learn to use kettlebells safely and correctly, while also experiencing the unique feeling of “playing” that they offer when you get comfortable with them!
I love to find ways to use yoga, pilates, kettlebells and many other modalities to inspire people to commit to finding their own unique movement practices. I want people to see themselves as strong and capable, and to help them feel their best at whatever stage of life they are navigating.

Kat’s fitness journey was sparked in 2017 when she felt called to quit her corporate job and hike the Pacific Crest Trail–a five-month wilderness trek that shifted her life path and perspective forever.
Inspired by what she learned on her journey, Kat now helps others build resilience and deepen their connection to self through strength training and breathwork.
At MOVE, Kat brings her electric energy, humour, and heart to every class she coaches. Whether she’s blasting music, cheering you on by name, or sparking spontaneous dance breaks between sets, Kat makes space for joy– reminding everyone around her to let it feel good.
